We are currently recruiting for a full-time permanent position to cover our responsive repairs and maintenance contracts in London.
We are looking for experienced and highly skilled General Handyman to join our team and help maintain the properties we service! Croftstons is a property maintenance contractor based in London. We conduct responsive repairs & maintenance works for social housing providers, both internal and external to the property.
Most importantly, the successful candidate will be reliable, hardworking, have an excellent attitude, and display a positive work ethic whilst being able to work independently with minimal supervision. We are looking for someone who is willing to go the extra mile to ensure the properties we maintain are left in excellent condition.
Applicants must have the following skills to apply for this role:
- To be able to conduct responsive repairs to the following: General carpentry, general plumbing, plastering, tiling, vinyl/laminate flooring, painting & decorating, general locksmith, brickworks repairs, fencing, UPVC window repairs and other minor works repairs.
- Disrepair works & Void refurbishments.
Responsibilities:
- Complete job reports providing excellent detail.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent job time-management skills.
- A good communicator both written & verbally.
- Punctual and reliable.
Requirements:
- At least 6 years minimum of maintenance experience.
- EU /UK Driving License (Maximum 6pts).
- Provide a DBS (Criminal record check).
- Must have own tools & basic power tools.
- Able to use mobile technology.
- Willing to travel (Within M25).
