Reporting to the Assistant Headteacher - Outcomes, you will be responsible for the effective coordination and organisation of CEIAG along with mentoring our KS4 pupils to achieve their goals. This will include implementing the necessary support and intervention strategies to all target pupils along with providing a comprehensive careers guidance service to all pupils at key points within their education, supporting and enabling them to make decisions about their future.
The successful candidate will:
- Ensure that target pupils receive relevant mentoring and interventions to achieve their aims.
- Develop strong partnerships with external agencies and stakeholders, including local and regional colleges, employers and careers organisations.
- Be able to advise and guide pupils on the next steps for their education.
- Have strong communication skills with the ability to work on your own initiative.
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
- Have a methodical and consistent approach to the organisation of the workload.
- A good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.

Grade 6 SCP 12-18 Actual Starting Salary Grade 6 £24,241 (FTE Salary £28,598 - £31,537). Grade 7 considered for individuals holding a Level 6 qualification in Careers Guidance and Development. Grade 7 Starting Salary £27,177 (FTE Salary £32,061 - £34,434).
