The Role
We’re looking for a Sales Support Administrator to play a key role in supporting our sales team and ensuring the smooth running of our sales operations. Working closely with Account Managers, Account Directors and internal teams across the business, you’ll provide essential administrative and operational support that enables the sales function to operate efficiently, professionally and at pace. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, has exceptional attention to detail and takes pride in supporting colleagues to achieve shared goals. You’ll contribute directly to Croft’s success by allowing the sales team to focus on relationship building and revenue growth while you keep the operational engine running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the sales team, including preparing quotations, proposals and order documentation.
- Accurately process orders, renewals and amendments, ensuring all approvals and supporting documentation are in place.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information within the CRM system, ensuring high data quality and integrity.
- Assist with the preparation of sales reports, forecasts and performance metrics to support management decision-making.
- Liaise with customers regarding order updates, documentation requirements and service information in a professional and timely manner.
- Work closely with finance, operations, procurement and service delivery teams to ensure a seamless customer journey from quote through to delivery.
- Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes and improve the efficiency of the sales operation.
- Provide general administrative support to the wider sales and commercial teams, supporting projects and initiatives as required.
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in a sales administration, sales support or customer service role.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.
