About Croeso Pubs

Croeso Pubs is one of South Wales' leading independent hospitality groups, operating a diverse collection of pubs, bars and entertainment venues across Cardiff and the surrounding area. We're looking for an energetic, creative and commercially minded Venue Marketing Manager to take ownership of the marketing for four of our flagship city centre venues (Brewhouse, The Philharmonic, Retro and Bluebell). This isn't a desk-based marketing role. You'll be out in the venues, creating content, building relationships, driving bookings and making sure our venues are always at the forefront of Cardiff's hospitality scene. Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing & Campaign Management
    • Develop and deliver venue marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
    • Create campaigns to increase bookings, footfall and customer engagement.
    • Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements.
    • Support seasonal campaigns, new launches and major events.
  • Social Media Management
    • Manage daily social media activity for assigned venues.
    • Respond promptly to comments and messages.
    • Plan, schedule and publish engaging content.
    • Ensure brand consistency across all social platforms.
  • Content Creation
    • Visit venues regularly to capture photography and video content.
    • Produce engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other digital channels.
    • Edit and deliver high-quality creative assets.
    • Work closely with the Design & Content Creator on larger campaigns.
  • Community & Partnership Development
    • Build relationships with local businesses, universities, tourism partners and community organisations.
    • Lead student engagement initiatives within your venues.
    • Develop local partnerships that drive awareness and bookings.
    • Represent Croeso Pubs at networking and promotional events.
  • Corporate Engagement
    • Build relationships with local corporate clients.
    • Conduct venue showcase visits and familiarisation tours.
    • Support corporate events on-site to ensure an excellent customer experience and encourage repeat business.
  • Venue Support
    • Work closely with General Managers to understand commercial priorities.
    • Ensure venue marketing reflects current offers and events.
    • Carry out regular brand and digital health checks.
    • Coordinate digital signage (Yodeck) and venue marketing materials.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in marketing, hospitality or events.
  • Excellent social media knowledge across multiple platforms.
  • Strong photography and videography skills.
  • Confident creating short‑form video content.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Commercial awareness with a results‑driven mindset.
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.

Working Pattern

Hospitality doesn't happen Monday to Friday—and neither does this role. You’ll be expected to work Friday and Saturday evenings on a regular basis to capture live content, showcase the atmosphere within our venues and support key events.
