As we establish this exciting new chapter, we are seeking an exceptional General Manager to lead the business and shape its success from the ground up.
The RoleYou will take full ownership of the venue, leading the team and setting the tone for a high-quality neighbourhood gastro pub. With a strong focus on food, drinks and community engagement, you’ll be responsible for driving commercial performance while delivering a consistently outstanding guest experience. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who takes pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere, building strong teams and running a disciplined, profitable business.
What We’re Looking For- Proven previous experience as a General Manager (or equivalent senior leadership role) within quality‑led hospitality venues
- Strong commercial awareness with a clear understanding of financial controls and full P&L responsibility
- Experience operating in food‑led pubs, gastro pubs or premium casual dining environments
- A natural leader who can recruit, develop and inspire a team while maintaining high service standards
- A strong focus on guest experience and building relationships within the local community
- The flexibility and resilience to manage varied trading patterns typical of a busy hospitality venue
- A clear track record of ensuring compliance with licensing, health & safety and brand standards
- Personal Licence holder (essential)
- Able to provide strong professional references
