We pride ourselves on delivering memorable dining experiences for locals and visitors alike, from relaxed lunches to busy weekend service and special events.
We are seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. You will run a section of the kitchen, delivering consistently high-quality food while maintaining standards of cleanliness, organisation and safety.
- Prepare and cook dishes to menu specification, maintaining portion control and presentation standards
- Run a designated station during service, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of food
- Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in developing and refining dishes and specials
- Train and mentor commis chefs and kitchen staff, promoting a collaborative team environment
- Maintain food safety, hygiene and storage standards in line with legislation and company policies
- Manage stock levels for your section, assist with ordering and rotation of supplies
- Contribute to menu planning, cost control and waste reduction initiatives
Who We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a busy kitchen
- Strong technical cooking skills and a good understanding of kitchen timings and mise en place
- Knowledge of food safety practices (HACCP) and willingness to uphold high hygiene standards
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and adapt to changing service requirements
- Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused approach
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays when required
