As our business looks todeliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are looking for a Shift Process Technician at our Leek site, torun a process plant and coordinate all operations requirements withinproduction areas to ensure that the production schedule is kept on target.
You will be responsible for monitoring plant equipment performance andtaking corrective action when breakdown occurs, in accordance with relevantprocedures.

• You will be a team player although you will also be comfortable working on an individual basis
• Good communication skills
• You will be an effective problem solver, able to identify and analyse problems quickly and you will have a high level of attention to detail
• You will be able to work flexibly and be capable of organising your workload as the situation dictates
• You must be computer literate
• Experience of working on a chemical site is advantageous
• A forklift truck (counterbalance) license is advantageous
• Ideally, you will be City & Guilds qualified in Process Operations, hold an NVQ level 2 in Process Operations, or be qualified to higher education

What You\’ll Be Doing:As a ShiftProcess Technician, you will be part of a team that values diversity,sustainability, and continuous innovation, where your ideas and contributionsmatter. The shift pattern rotates between 12hour day/night shifts on a5-week cycle.
As part ofyour role, you will be operating a range of complex process plants (including high hazard plants) to the agreedstandards by following site procedures and instructions. You will be expectedto effectively plan and organise your work and materials during your shift.
Other duties include:

• Operating a forklift truck vehicle loading/unloading safely and efficiently
• You will be accountable for own health and safety and for those around you who could be affected by your actions
• You will be required to carry out maintenance tasks
• You will be required to carry out agreed in-process testing related to product manufacture
