We are looking for a QC Analyst based in our Quality Control Laboratory at our Ditton site.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to the Production, Sales and Process Development departments, carrying out testing and solving problems as required.
- Sampling of products manufactured at the Ditton site
- Performing microbiological analysis of samples
- Identification of micro-organisms
- General housekeeping of the laboratory and preparation of media
- Completing paperwork in accordance with good documentation guidelines
- The role will require shift work although the initial training shall be 9-5 Monday to Friday
Qualifications
- Excellent attention to detail
- Effective communicator, capable of building effective working relationships both internally and externally
- Excellent planning and organisation skills; able to manage conflicting deadlines and changes in priorities
- Good laboratory skills
- You will be educated to HND/HNC in a microbiology related discipline or possess relevant experience
- QC experience (desirable but not essential)
- Understanding of GMP (desirable but not essential)
- Experience in microbiological testing would be advantageous (desirable but not essential)
