As our business looks to deliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we’re looking for an organised and proactive Maintenance Planner / Support Coordinator to support our maintenance team on a busy chemical manufacturing site. This is a hands‑on support role covering purchasing, stores administration, contractor coordination, and safety documentation review. You’ll work closely with the Maintenance Team and other site teams to help keep our site running safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.
Who We’re Looking For
- Strong organisation, communication and relationship‑building skills.
- A relatable qualification at level 3 or above.
- Experience in purchasing, stores, or maintenance support.
- A safety‑focused mindset with good attention to detail.
- Proficiency with IT systems such as SAP and Microsoft Excel or other digital tools for stock control or maintenance management.
- Understanding of manufacturing or engineering environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage purchasing of materials, spares, and services.
- Oversee maintenance stores and stock control.
- Coordinate contractor activities and site access.
- Review risk assessments and support safe working practices.
- Provide administration support to maintenance planning and daily operations.
