As our business looks to deliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are looking for a Credit Controller to join our Finance team to ensure that our accounts are managed effectively to allow the successful operation and growth of our business.

- Proven knowledge and 5 years + experience of working in a credit control department.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, capable of building effective working / customer relationships.
- Attention to detail to ensure work is produced to a high standard and communications / notes are accurate and up to date at all times.
- Good planning and organisation skills are required, as is self‐motivation to ensure tasks are completed to deadlines set.
- Ability to manage and resolve queries.
- A flexible 'can do' attitude with a willingness to learn, develop and adapt to change as business processes/systems evolve.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Credit Management or other Finance qualification (e.g. AAT).

What You'll Be Doing

- Downloading cash from the bank and posting in SAP (multiple currencies).
- Effective cash collections (emails/calls/customer relationships) to minimise overdue balances.
- Liaising with internal teams to find solutions for late payments and order/deliveries blocks.
- Credit checking new Customers and performing ongoing reviews for existing Customers.
- Proposing (obtaining approval) and maintaining accurate credit limits and payment terms.
- Following Credit Policy, working instructions and other Company Policies.
- Assisting with month end reporting and other ad hoc requests.
- As part of a team, identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Working with multiple legal entities and colleagues based in the EMEA region.
- Communicating daily with Customers/Internal colleagues via MS TEAMS/Video calls.
