As our business looks to deliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are looking for a Marketing Lead – Activation to join our team to execute sustainability marketing activity and sales support, as defined by the marketing plan on a temporary, fixed‑term contract for 13 months.
Who We’re Looking For
- Degree qualified in Marketing or relevant subject.
- Experience in a relevant marketing role.
- Good planning and organisational skills, ideally demonstrated through previous project management experience.
- Proven record of achieving objectives and targets.
- A passion for sustainability and a flair for communications.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide marketing expertise for effective execution of marketing campaigns through appropriate media, e.g. generation of literature, advertising, external articles, etc., across a range of marketing platforms including web and social.
- Drive success management by setting clear launch KPIs and analysing and reviewing to achieve set targets, i.e. leads, conversions, samples, opportunities.
- Execute key campaign / develop comms plan.
- Work alongside agencies where relevant.
- Coordinate, influence and work with cross‑functional project teams to drive developments within key strategic focus areas.
- Manage projects in accordance with clearly agreed guidelines.
- Organise, participate and attend relevant conferences and exhibitions, and develop and deliver clear, focused thought leadership engagement plans for award submission and speaking opportunities.
- Proactively train sales force as required using appropriate and effective methods of communication.
- Collate and analyse industry data, including competitor, customer and consumer market trends in order to identify and present new market opportunities.
- Measure the effectiveness of marketing activity within the relevant business area using data analytics, in order to maximise marketing spends and share best practice across industry sectors.
- Identify issues/unmet market needs, seek and recognise important information and translate into proposed new ideas.
- Make recommendations as required.
- Translate the business strategy and objectives into effective marketing plans for local and global audiences.
