As our business looks to deliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are looking for a Group Sustainability Industrial Placement Student to join our central Sustainability team to provide dedicated delivery support to the Group ESG Reporting team during a critical period of regulatory, system and reporting activity on a fixed‑term contract for 12 months. You will work closely with other members of the sustainability team and with stakeholders across the business on a variety of tasks that support Croda’s overall sustainability commitment.

- A passion for sustainability
- Working towards a 2:1 degree in a Sustainability, Environmental Science, Data Analytics or relevant subject
- Ability to research topics and trends in sustainability
- High standard of numeracy, confidence with handling data and attention to detail
- High standard of verbal and written communication
- Good inter‑personal skills, with an ability to develop relationships across a large organisation
- Ability to work well independently and collaboratively, and be keen to share information, knowledge, and skills
- Self‑motivated individual with the ability to manage and plan your workload
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to work, with a high level of initiative
What You’ll Be Doing:

- Gain an understanding of sustainability strategy within a FTSE100 organisation
- Collaborate with different global business functions to support our sustainability initiatives
- Research sustainability topics providing the team and/or stakeholders in the wider business with best practice recommendations
- Help develop and deploy sustainability reporting data management tools and systems
- Support data collection, analysis and presentation for our sustainability reporting
