As our Pharma/Crop/Seed business looks to deliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager to join our organisation to grow sales across our Pharma and Crop product lines. Reporting into the Sales Development Manager of our Life Sciences business, you will drive domestic and international sales for our key product lines and actively develop new B2B business opportunities.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, or Agricultural Science.
- New graduates and 8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in specialty chemicals, food ingredients, pharmaceutical ingredients, or agrochemical industries preferred.
- Proven experience in B2B sales and business development.
- Experience selling technology-based or customized products/solutions is highly desirable.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Technical Sales - Manage sales activities for food (30%), pharmaceutical (50%), and agrochemical (20%) ingredients. Provide technical support and application guidance to customers. Identify and generate new sales leads and business opportunities.
- Product Promotion and Seminar Activities - Conduct product presentations, technical seminars, and customer workshops. Support marketing activities to increase product awareness and market penetration. Coordinate customer training programs and technical education sessions.
- Customer Relationship Management - Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers. Understand customer needs and propose suitable technical solutions. Collaborate with internal technical, regulatory, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Market Intelligence - Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Share market insights and customer feedback with internal stakeholders. Support strategic planning through market analysis and business forecasting.
