Overview

Tour Guide Driver Support Workers (also known as Mobility Trainers for the Tourism Sector) are fully qualified drivers who support vulnerable or disabled tour guides in planning and following a journey and providing them with constant supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and welcome visitors in a business environment
  • Manage diary systems
  • Buddy a colleague to develop their skills
  • Contribute to the organisation of an event
  • Organise business travel or accommodation
  • Process information about customers
  • Processing customers’ financial transactions
  • Participate in a project
  • Understand the use of research in business

Essential qualifications

  • Full UK/EU driving licence, held for at least 3 years.
  • Basic neurodiversity training in autism from Neurodivergence Wales

Desirable qualifications

  • National Autistic Society Non-Medical Helper Bundle
  • Manual handling training
  • Emergency / Mental Health first aid training
