The Custodian keeps common and living areas in clean and orderly condition, with special emphasis on floor care by performing the following duties:
- Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs and office space.
- Empties tenants' trash and garbage containers.
- Notifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
- Cleans snow and debris from sidewalk.
- Assists in the moving or relocating of residents.
- Pressure washing outside areas as needed.
- Experience with floor cleaning technology.
- Must interact courteously, tactfully and politely with managers, co-workers, residents, vendors or associates to preserve productivity and morale.

Education and/or Experience: Less than high school education; several years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
