We are looking for a resident volunteer who is confident enough to oversee operations in a residential setting. This includes meal service, being on-call, helping out on teams as needed and acting as Duty Manager when required.
Do you enjoy meeting people, offering hospitality and working as part of a team? This will suit someone who has experience of hospitality and/or a retreat and conference setting who would like to be in a beautiful setting, a mile from sandy beaches and the stunning Dorset coastline.
An on-site two bedroom flat (with council tax, gas & electric paid) is provided along with all meals and a small allowance for essentials. Applicants need to be committed Christians as they are living on-site as part of our Christian community and committed to the charitable aim of the trust to 'advance the Christian faith'. This is a part-time role. The accommodation is not suitable for families.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Experience of hospitality, ideally in a residential conference/retreat centre setting.
