Full Description
This role will involve leading a team to support and resource Christian teachers and ministry in schools and equipping a large volunteer team to run residential events for young people during the holidays.
We’re looking for someone who can pastor and lead the Glod team with grace, gentleness, humility and servant-heartedness. We’re open to those with a range of experience, not only full-time ministry.
The role also involves front-line ministry in a variety of ways including visiting schools to run Christian meetings and assemblies, teaching and leading volunteer teams on residential weekends and holidays and training students and staff. Developing partnerships with church leaders, teachers and parents is an important aspect of the role to ensure the future direction of Glod meets the needs and opportunities in the schools in the Midlands and North of England. This includes developing links with new schools, recruiting for camps and helping with fundraising for the ongoing ministry.
The Glod Team Leader sits on the Executive Committee of the Titus Trust and plays a full role in implementing the Trust’s priorities in partnership with the Trustees and in line with the Titus Trust values. You will need to have an awareness of the Trust’s commitment to safeguarding and a willingness to safeguard others and be ready to understand and implement Trust’s policies.
