Christian Youth Enterprises are looking for a Senior Instructor, someone who is passionate about developing people, experienced in running outdoor activities and enthusiastic about sharing the Christian message to join our team from September 2026. If you’re keen to gain experience in the outdoor industry, looking to gain transferrable skills, grow your leadership ability and want to be part of a great community, this might be the job for you!
You’ll find yourself delivering events to a variety of guests, leading teams, planning and delivering staff training, facilitating our spiritual input and honing the admin and organisation skills required for the day to day running of events and activities. You will predominantly be responsible for facilitating events and activities and ensuring that CYE maintains its excellent reputation for delivering safe and memorable experiences and will be a crucial part of the Activity Team. The Senior Instructor role sits at the heart of the activity team, bridging the gap between the Onsite Staff and the Senior Activity Team.
Qualifications / Requirements:- RYA Senior Dinghy Instructor or able to achieve this within 3 months of starting the role
- Minimum 2 years’ experience of working in outdoor instructing
- First Aid training and valid certificate
- Safeguarding training
- An active Christian faith
- Experience of working in multiple activity settings
- Experience of leading short devotions or Bible studies
- Articulate and capable communicator and presenter
