We are looking for a motivated Graduate Civil Engineer to join our Civil Engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain practical site experience while developing the technical, commercial, and management skills required for a successful career in civil engineering.
Working alongside experienced Site Managers and Contracts Engineers, you will support the delivery of civil engineering projects, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and performance.
As our Graduate Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with pre-contract site surveys and setting out activities.
- Supporting site administration, record keeping, and reporting.
- Maintaining records of completed works and site measurements.
- Assisting with material testing and quality inspections.
- Supporting the ordering of plant and materials.
- Attending site inductions, toolbox talks, and health & safety briefings.
- Developing an understanding of project programmes, cost control, and contract requirements.
- Promoting safe working practices and contributing to sustainability initiatives.
In order to be successful in this role you must have:
- Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering.
- CSCS Card (achieved or working towards).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
