The Opportunity
As a Sales Development Representative specialising in HPE GreenLake, you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective customers, driving outbound activity, qualifying opportunities, and supporting pipeline growth across the UK. You’ll work closely with Client Directors, BDEs, and vendor teams to shape early-stage conversations and influence Hybrid IT strategy.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities within target UK accounts.
- Drive outbound activity across calls, email, LinkedIn, and structured campaigns.
- Focus prospecting on HPE GreenLake and Hybrid IT solutions.
- Qualify leads using agreed criteria (budget, authority, need, timescale).
- Maintain a strong pipeline of sales-qualified opportunities.
- Ensure accurate activity and pipeline data within CRM systems.
- Align outreach with account plans alongside Client Directors and BDEs.
- Collaborate with HPE and vendor teams on joint campaigns and sales plays.
- Stay current on HPE GreenLake propositions, licensing, and competitive positioning.
- Engage confidently with IT decision makers and C-level stakeholders.
- Position consumption-based and as-a-service models effectively.
- Support early-stage proposal development when required.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of Hybrid IT, consumption models, and enterprise buying cycles.
- Proven ability to engage senior IT stakeholders and qualify opportunities.
- 3+ years’ SDR experience in IT infrastructure or Hybrid Cloud.
- Experience prospecting or selling HPE GreenLake solutions.
- Strong communication, objection handling, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple outreach and qualification activities.
- Experience working with sales executives and vendor partners.
