The Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated and commercially focused Business Development Manager to support the continued growth of our UK commercial team. This role is ideal for a sales professional with experience in B2B fleet solution sales who enjoys developing relationships, identifying opportunities, and managing the full sales process from prospecting through to implementation handover. You will focus on generating and converting new business opportunities across mid-market and corporate organisations, working closely with internal teams to deliver tailored fleet and mobility solutions that meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across targeted sectors and regions
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including HR, Procurement, Finance, and Fleet contacts
- Manage the sales process from initial prospecting through to proposal and contract stage
- Promote and present solutions across:
- Fleet management outsourcing
- Maintenance services
- Salary sacrifice and employee benefit schemes
- Driver services and risk management solutions
- Rental and flexible mobility products
- Prepare customer proposals and presentations with support from internal teams
- Maintain regular pipeline activity and accurate CRM reporting
- Work collaboratively with operational, pricing, and account management teams to support successful onboarding
- Attend relevant networking events, exhibitions, and customer meetings to build market presence
- Achieve agreed revenue and activity targets
What We're Looking For
- Experience within a B2B fleet sales or business development role
- Background in fleet, leasing, automotive, or related service sector
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and work in a target-driven environment
- Commercial awareness and confidence in presenting solutions to customers
- Self-motivated, organised, and proactive approach to business development
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a wider commercial team
