Main Purpose of Role:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic sales professional to grow and develop strong relationships through the brand. Significantly increase sales by leasing vehicles to prospects and customers using the unique benefits of flexible leasing. To improve the profile and awareness among potential customers and the motor industry and fleet leasing network. The successful candidate will be responsible for sales within a defined geographical region. The role is a key role in supporting the growth aspirations as we look to become one of the household names in the leasing industry for corporate customers. This role is ideal for a new business hunter, ideally with a background in vehicle leasing with sound knowledge of Salary Sacrifice.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage all sales leads in an effective and timely manner for all customers. Sales leads are generated through own prospecting activities, existing customer relationships and 3rd party prospecting.
- To grow all customer sectors: Fleet 25 - 199 vehicles, Corporate 200 - 499 vehicles, Major Corporate 500+ vehicles.
- Consistent outbound prospecting data lists and other approved outbound customer lists to incrementally grow the Company database of clients and business revenue.
- Knowledge of the full sales cycle from completion of proposal form checks, direct debit set up, prompt payments and insurance requirements, and the business risks associated with not adhering to the full process.
- Ensure all new corporate and retail accounts have been checked against the relevant due diligence and credit safe information, DVLA, and credit checks to ensure the safeguarding of the mobility brand and assets.
- Creating customer accounts and updating the internal Lead Generator and CRM system, ensuring all areas are completed with the correct details in relation to Account Manager and Salesperson and relevant customer details.
- Adhere to timescales where on-hold assets are reserved for customers ensuring these are removed/confirmed as soon as reasonably possible.
- Maintain customer accounts with relevant business information ensuring GDPR guidelines are adhered to.
- Take ownership to work with the team and support in answering the general inquiries which come into the centralised sales team inbox.
- Build strong and trusted relationships with the internal support teams i.e., System support, Accounts, and Logistics to work as one team.
- Take ownership for continuous professional development ensuring to keep up with the relevant trends within the leasing Industry.
- Advise senior management regarding feedback from prospects and customers.
- Complete required internal reports on time and with accuracy.
- Manage trends, look for common seasonality, and address these to seek new business opportunities.
- Awareness of marketing strategy and campaigns, ensuring the promotion of products in line with company standards.
- Ensure required reports are completed in the relevant timescale with accuracy: for example weekly Outlook Report, Vehicle reservations stock list, open/closed report, etc.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent time management and the ability to be flexible to meet customer demands.
- Confident with a strong ability to influence others in a positive light.
- Ability to develop close business relationships and build rapport with customers & prospects.
- Previous experience working in a sales driven environment, specifically involved in the sales process to corporate customers.
- Full understanding of the Leasing industry and Corporate customers requirements, including buying habits & how to consultatively structure a sale.
- Maintain a positive attitude to workloads and new opportunities/challenges with determination.
- A desire to succeed and go above and beyond the expected requirement.
- Highly motivated with a passion to succeed.
- Due to the nature and pace it is essential the individual is resilient and flexible to continual change.
- Deep understanding of contract hire, salary sacrifice schemes, and the UK automotive leasing market.
- Strong financial and analytical skills, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and driving profitability.
