Are you an experienced Workshop Manager or Foreman/Supervisor looking to progress your career? We are recruiting for an industry leader that is looking for an experienced Workshop Manager to take full responsibility of a busy workshop, yard operation, and team of fitters/yard staff. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong leadership experience within plant or tool hire, critical power equipment or a similar engineering/service environment.

This is a key leadership role where you’ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of a busy workshop and yard, leading and developing a team of fitters and yard operatives while driving productivity and operational performance. Whilst working closely with internal teams and suppliers, you’ll ensure equipment is inspected, serviced, repaired, and available for hire, whilst managing stock, equipment movements, off-hire inspections, and damage processes.

What We’re Looking For…

  • This could be the ideal role for either a proven Workshop/Depot Manager OR a Workshop Foreman/Supervisor looking to progress their career
  • Strong people management and leadership skills
  • Engineering or mechanical background preferred
  • Experience managing equipment, repairs, servicing, and workshop operations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment

Package:

  • £50,000 – £55,000 basic salary
  • Company car
  • 6% company pension contribution
  • 23 days holiday + bank holidays
