Working from home, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, commissioning and repairing UPS systems while providing a professional and reliable service to customers. Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance on UPS systems and associated critical power equipment.
  • Install, commission and test UPS systems across a variety of customer sites.
  • Diagnose and rectify electrical and UPS system faults quickly and accurately.
  • Complete site surveys and provide clear technical findings and recommendations.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with electrical safety regulations and company standards.
  • Produce detailed service reports and maintain accurate records of all work completed.
  • Travel to customer sites throughout the UK when required.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota.

Requirements

  • A minimum of two years experience working with UPS systems.
  • An ECS Gold Card and a current 18th Edition qualification.
  • An NVQ Level 3 electrical qualification or an equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Knowledge of power distribution, switchgear or critical infrastructure environments.
  • Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive and professional approach with pride in delivering high-quality work.
  • A full, clean UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide and participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota.
