Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on UPS systems and associated critical power equipment.
- Install, commission and test UPS systems across a variety of customer sites.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical and UPS system faults quickly and accurately.
- Complete site surveys and provide clear technical findings and recommendations.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with electrical safety regulations and company standards.
- Produce detailed service reports and maintain accurate records of all work completed.
- Travel to customer sites throughout the UK when required.
- Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota.
Requirements
- A minimum of two years experience working with UPS systems.
- An ECS Gold Card and a current 18th Edition qualification.
- An NVQ Level 3 electrical qualification or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- Knowledge of power distribution, switchgear or critical infrastructure environments.
- Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive and professional approach with pride in delivering high-quality work.
- A full, clean UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel nationwide and participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota.
