We are working with a major client at the heart of Britain's high-speed rail infrastructure programme, and we are recruiting a PRAM Engineer (RAM) to play a central role in ensuring the railway delivers on its operational promises from day one. This is a programme-wide coordination role.
You will develop and disaggregate PRAM requirements across a complex delivery organisation, translating system-level expectations into clear obligations for contracts and delivery teams. Using specialist analysis tools, you will define multi-disciplinary technical solutions, track progress through System Level Reviews, and support reliability data collection through testing and commissioning via DRACAS and FRACAS.
You will work closely with engineers, operations specialists, maintenance teams and safety professionals across a large matrix organisation, influencing without direct authority and escalating clearly when delivery is not on track.
The right candidate will have a background in engineering standards, safety or reliability engineering within a complex programme environment, and will be working towards Chartered Engineer status. You will understand relevant regulatory frameworks and bring the communication skills to translate technical requirements into practical delivery obligations across a wide range of stakeholders.
If you want your PRAM expertise to shape the operational performance of one of the most significant infrastructure projects in the country, this is the role to do it. The role can be carried out in London or Birmingham.
