Responsibilities
- Investigate private sector housing complaints and carry out enforcement
- Manage HMO licences end-to-end, including inspections
- Undertake property inspections under the Housing Act 2004
- Support caravan site inspections and enforcement
- Carry out Homes for Ukraine property and welfare visits
- Prepare legal files where required and provide advice to landlords and tenants
Requirements
- Strong experience in private sector housing and enforcement
- Sound knowledge of housing legislation, including the Housing Act 2004
- Experience working with vulnerable residents and safeguarding
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
