We are seeking an Interim Finance Business Partner to join a leading Public Body working on one of the UK’s largest and most complex infrastructure projects. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving financial accountability and efficiency within a high-profile programme that delivers value to the taxpayer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assurance and challenge to drive accountability and maintain focus on cost control.
  • Lead cost and efficiency initiatives to maximise value and improve financial outcomes.
  • Deliver high-quality management information and strategic advice to support senior management and stakeholders in decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including engagement at Executive level.
  • Drive output-focused, activity-based budgeting and forecasting to improve financial performance.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Qualified Accountant with experience in complex environments (infrastructure project experience preferred).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
  • Extensive experience in developing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in analysing and interpreting data to provide meaningful insights and reporting.
  • Knowledge of Government financial frameworks and accounting standards.
