Document Control Manager -London/Hybrid | Β£47,683 + Benefits

We are recruiting for an experienced Document Control Manager to join a large infrastructure business, managing a team of 5 Document Controllers and leading the delivery and continuous improvement of document management and control processes.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing and developing a team of Document Controllers.
  • Leading the implementation, maintenance and improvement of document control processes, procedures and systems.
  • Managing team performance against KPIs, objectives and business strategy.
  • Overseeing the lifecycle of project documentation between clients, contractors, stakeholders and interested parties.
  • Ensuring effective document tracking, archiving, retention and storage.
  • Supporting the review and acceptance of project deliverables and maintaining compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

You will have:

  • Extensive experience in document control/document management, ideally within engineering, construction, infrastructure or major projects.
  • Proven experience managing and developing a document control team.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Experience working with electronic document management systems, records tracking, archiving and retention.
  • Knowledge of project documentation processes and the typical project lifecycle.
  • Working knowledge of Enterprise Bridge (eB) or similar Document Management System.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 document requirements.
  • Knowledge of the Public Records Act 1958 and Section 46 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
  • Experience with bulk scanning systems and PDF functionality.
