An Interim Accountancy Technician is required to join the Place Finance team at a Cheshire local authority on a hybrid contract basis. This role will support services including Libraries and Housing, working closely with the Finance Business Partner on budget setting, in-year monitoring, and closure of accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation and maintenance of capital and revenue budgets

- Support the annual closure of accounts process

Requirements
- Experience providing finance support to managers is essential
