Data Analyst - CAD - Birmingham/Hybrid | £36857 -£43355 + Benefits

We are recruiting for a Data Analyst - CAD to join a team delivering a major transport infrastructure development.

You will be responsible for assessing, analysing and assuring CAD data received from consultants, suppliers and delivery partners, ensuring it meets contractual, technical and Digital Engineering standards.

You will manage data exchanges through the Common Data Environment (CDE), identify data quality issues and determine whether CAD data should be accepted or rejected.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse and validate CAD against contractual and project standards.
  • Manage supplier data exchanges through the CDE, with a focus on CAD data.
  • Identify, report and investigate data quality issues, including root-cause analysis.
  • Support compliance with Digital Engineering standards, specifications and procedures.
  • Work closely with Digital Engineering teams, delivery teams, suppliers and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to data assurance, interoperability and continuous improvement activities.

About You

You will have

  • Extensive experience working with CAD and 3D model data within infrastructure, construction or engineering.
  • Strong understanding of how CAD models are produced and managed across the project lifecycle.
  • Experience with Bentley, Power BI and IFC.
  • Knowledge of BIM processes, ISO 19650 and relevant industry standards.
  • Strong understanding of data quality, data assurance and interoperability.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Knowledge of data protection, information security and data management principles.
  • An understanding of automation, scripts and processes would be advantageous.
