Tikari Works is hiring a Part 2 architect to join its team in London. Tikari Works is a small, energetic, multidisciplinary design studio that brings together architecture, construction, and property development under a single umbrella organisation. This unique business structure provides a platform for experimentation beyond the scope of the traditional practice with the aim of engaging with the built environment in a way that is rigorously analytical whilst still being soulful, sustainable, and imaginative.

We have an immediate need for an experienced architectural assistant to work on a series of exciting new residential projects. You will be given the opportunity to develop design ideas, test them through digital and physical models, and prepare technical details for construction. You will be actively encouraged to contribute to the project's design refinement and will be involved in all stages from technical detailing to on-site quality control.

The ideal candidate will have excellent design skills, a solid technical base and most importantly a positive ‘can-do’ attitude with a willingness to think dynamically, take responsibility, and solve problems.

Requirements:
  • diploma or master’s in architecture
  • three plus years’ of experience
  • passionate designer with a strong interest in making and construction
  • experience in residential conversions or timber construction beneficial
  • proficient with a range of 2D and 3D software
  • self-motivated, eager to learn and willing to take risks
  • well organised with good time-management
  • UK work experience essential
  • UK right to work mandatory
