Tikari Works is hiring a Part 2 architect to join its team in London. Tikari Works is a small, energetic, multidisciplinary design studio that brings together architecture, construction, and property development under a single umbrella organisation. This unique business structure provides a platform for experimentation beyond the scope of the traditional practice with the aim of engaging with the built environment in a way that is rigorously analytical whilst still being soulful, sustainable, and imaginative.
Responsibilities:
- Work on a series of exciting new residential projects; develop design ideas, test them through digital and physical models, and prepare technical details for construction.
- Contribute to the project’s design refinement and be involved in all stages from technical detailing to on-site quality control.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure design intent is delivered with quality and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or master’s in architecture.
- Three plus years of experience.
- Passionate designer with a strong interest in making and construction.
- Experience in residential conversions or timber construction beneficial.
- Proficient with a range of 2D and 3D software.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn and willing to take risks.
- Well organised with good time-management.
- UK work experience essential.
- UK right to work mandatory.
