Kiani Architects is seeking a project architect/architect to join its team in London. Kiani Architects is a London based studio working across the workplace, residential and student accommodation sectors.
We work closely with clients, contractors, manufacturers and suppliers to create buildings that are detailed, thoughtful and unique. You’ll be joining us at an exciting moment, with current projects including:
- a seven‑storey commercial development in Clerkenwell nearing completion
- a large commercial refurbishment, also in Clerkenwell
- a retention, refurbishment and new‑build scheme in Greenwich
- a mixed‑use contemporary industrial development in North London
You’ll work closely with the director across all RIBA stages, with immediate involvement in developing Stage 3 designs into Stage 4. You’ll gain full exposure to projects, real responsibility, and meaningful input into design decisions from day one.
We’re looking for someone who:
- is a proven architect, or architectural designer, with a positive attitude towards driving design and resolving details for buildability, with a minimum of 3 years PQE
- demonstrates understanding of construction detailing and capability of preparing detailed working drawings, specifications, technical reports
- is capable of navigating Approved Documents and relevant British Standards and demonstrates judgement and understanding of the spirit of the regulations
- can comfortably work across all RIBA stages, with in-depth understanding of statutory sign-offs
- is fluent in Revit and AutoCAD, with fluency across the Adobe Creative Suite
- is organised, self‑motivated, and comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively
- is fluent in written and spoken English, with excellent graphic and presentation skills
