Latitude Architects is hiring a part-time practice manager to join its team in London. The role would allow flexible working hours with a total of two to three days a week anticipated. Start date: ASAP. Salary: subject to experience.

Responsibilities

  • Financial management (using Xero): manage invoicing, expenses, and financial records; reconcile bank accounts and track payments; oversee supplier payments, standing orders, and direct debits; liaise with the practice accountant to compile year-end accounts and quarterly VAT returns.
  • Financial planning and reporting: assist the directors in preparing project financial data, schedules of earnings, and cash flow forecasts; manage administration of desk space rentals who share our workspace.
  • Marketing and communications: help maintain the website, brochures, and marketing materials; help manage the practice’s social media accounts; assist in the coordination of award submissions and press releases; support directors in delivering marketing strategies; help organise client and corporate events, likely one to two per year.
  • Human resources: support recruitment and onboarding of new team members; liaise with payroll providers; track holidays, sick leave, and staff wellbeing; help promote a positive workplace culture and ensure health and safety compliance; help organise team events and the annual office European weekend trip away.
  • Corporate responsibility: assist the directors in maintaining up-to-date policies and best practices.

The successful applicant should have: fluent spoken English; competent user of Microsoft Office; working knowledge of Xero accounting software; excellent communication skills.
