StudioSmall is looking for a thoughtful, detail-driven Mid-Weight Designer to join our team. This role supports the creation of compelling brand, digital, and campaign work across a range of clients. You’ll have at least three years’ experience in a design studio environment and be confident contributing across a variety of touchpoints, with a strong focus on digital. The role is based in our Shoreditch studio.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop strong visual concepts across brand, digital, and social
  • Translate briefs into clear, engaging design solutions
  • Work across multiple projects simultaneously
  • Collaborate with other members of the team including other designers and developers
  • Prepare and deliver polished assets for both digital and print
  • Craft both beautiful projects and case studies

We’re looking for:

  • 3–5 years of experience in a design role (agency or studio)
  • A meticulous, detail-oriented approach to your work
  • Excellent website design skills, and strong understanding of UX/UI
  • A strong eye for typography and visual detail
  • Experience building and applying brand systems
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite essential
  • Fluency in AI tools — Midjourney, Nano-Banana (or similar)
  • Confidence working across motion, animation, and video
  • A deep interest in photography and art direction
  • A genuine passion for design in all its forms
  • Curiosity in design trends, and emerging creative tools and software
  • Confidence working independently and as part of a team
