Portfolio Kitchens & Bathrooms is hiring a sales designer to join its team in Manchester, UK. Portfolio Kitchens & Bathrooms is one of Greater Manchester’s leading independent kitchen and bathroom specialists, delivering bespoke luxury interiors that combine exceptional design, premium products and outstanding customer service. Based from our beautiful Whitefield showroom, we work with discerning homeowners across the Northwest, creating inspiring kitchens and bathrooms tailored to their lifestyle and aspirations. The role
As a sales designer, you will guide customers through every stage of their journey, from initial consultation through to design presentation and order confirmation. Working from our Whitefield showroom, you’ll create stunning bespoke kitchen designs while delivering an exceptional customer experience that reflects the Portfolio Kitchens & Bathrooms brand. You’ll work with premium products, high-quality enquiries and customers who are investing in transforming their homes.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct showroom consultations with prospective customers
- Produce high-quality kitchen and bathroom designs using Winner CAD software
- Visit customer homes for surveys and design consultations where required
- Present designs and quotations professionally and confidently
- Convert enquiries into successful sales through consultative selling
- Manage projects through the sales process while maintaining excellent communication
- Build long-term customer relationships and generate referrals through exceptional service
- Work closely with suppliers and installation teams to ensure smooth project delivery
About you
We’re looking for someone who combines outstanding design ability with a passion for customer service and sales. You’ll ideally have:
- Previous experience within the Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom (KBB) industry or luxury interiors
- Strong design flair and commercial awareness
- Experience using kitchen Winner CAD software
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A customer-first approach
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence
Working hours
Monday to Friday: 9:00am– 5:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am– 4:00pm (alternate Saturdays only)
