This role focuses on leading and overseeing projects on the Experiential team, ensuring they are delivered effectively across various teams. As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll play a key management role within the experiential team, working closely with other seniors and the Experiential Team Lead / Associate Project Director, responsible for the smooth and strategic delivery of multiple client projects from brief to execution. You'll manage timelines, budgets, resources and stakeholders, ensuring a high level of quality and creativity throughout. Your role is both hands-on and strategic, balancing leading your own projects and day-to-day project oversight with client relationship development and team mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple experiential and brand activation projects, from brief through to installation and de-rig.
  • Act as a trusted strategic partner to clients, contributing to campaign direction and brand objectives beyond delivery.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholder communications to ensure seamless execution.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and service excellence.
  • Oversee and mentor mid-level and junior team members, providing guidance across project delivery and client interactions.
  • Own project financials including budgeting, forecasting, reconciliation, and supplier management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, creative, production, and account teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Support new business development through proposal input, pitch participation, and commercial insight.
  • Line manage and develop team members, driving knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to agency culture, sustainability initiatives, and process development in alignment with Seen Studios’ values.

Project & Client Management

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery across 2-5 projects simultaneously (depending on scale/output), at various stages of planning, design, production or install.
  • Act as a trusted strategic partner for clients, not just a delivery lead, but contributing to campaign thinking and broader brand objectives.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients through clear, proactive communication and consistent service excellence.
  • Oversee project workflows, ensuring internal processes and agency standards are upheld.
  • Collaborate closely with design, projects, creative partnerships and accounts, as well as third-party suppliers, contractors and freelancers.
  • Take the lead in live project client meetings and calls, ensuring progress updates are clearly communicated and expectations are aligned.
  • Attend and manage live events, installations and de-rigs as required, including on-site supplier and crew management.
  • Alongside APD allocates projects within their sub-team within Experiential team.
  • Project manages and delivers at a senior level.
  • Responsible for day to day senior support for their project team, including communications, client calls, signing off documentation, supplier briefing.
  • Oversees their sub team on day to day running of projects.

Financial & Operational Oversight

  • Maintain full visibility over your line reports pipeline, capacity and resource planning, escalating to the Team Lead / Associate Project Director where necessary.
  • Own project finances including estimates, reconciliations, GP, budgets, invoicing and supplier POs for yourself but overseeing juniors within the team and line reports.
  • Sense check teams quotes and support with financials.
  • Work alongside the APD / Team Lead and Client Services team on forecasting, pipeline planning, and account development.
  • Attend client briefings (F2F and virtual), and ensure clarity in project scope, deliverables and commercial objectives.
  • Support or lead on new business proposals and pitches, bringing commercial insight and delivery expertise to the table.

Team Management & Development

  • Line manage and mentor junior team members including Project Managers, Junior PMs and Project Coordinators.
  • Drive internal knowledge-sharing, coordinate learning sessions and contribute to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Support team recruitment and onboarding alongside the APD / Team Lead.
  • Ensure agency values and ways of working are reflected in all project management approaches.

Key Skills & Attributes

  • Proven experience managing experiential, event or campaign-led projects within a creative agency environment.
  • Excellent understanding of production techniques, materials, supplier management, and reading technical drawings.
  • Strong commercial acumen – confident handling budgets, forecasting and reconciling across multiple projects and clients.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills – able to influence, lead and negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience managing and developing team members, with a focus on supporting career growth and capability.
  • Organised, detail-driven and calm under pressure – able to juggle competing priorities and timelines.
  • Passionate, self-motivated and deeply engaged with the work – someone who leads by example and inspires those around them.

Desirable Experience

  • Background in retail or brand activation campaigns.
  • Proven experience delivering complex experiential and brand experience projects with budgets of £500k +.
  • Proven team, client and supplier management, alongside strong budget ownership, is a must.
  • Experience working on a mix of real-life and digital brand experiences.
  • Strong presentation and pitch experience.
  • Familiarity with agency project management tools and platforms.
