StudioSmall is looking for a thoughtful, detail-driven Mid-Weight Designer to join our team. This role supports the creation of compelling brand, digital, and campaign work across a range of clients. You'll have at least three years' experience in a design studio environment and be confident contributing across a variety of touchpoints, with a strong focus on digital. The role is based in our Shoreditch studio.
What you'll do
- Develop strong visual concepts across brand, digital, and social
- Translate briefs into clear, engaging design solutions
- Work across multiple projects simultaneously
- Collaborate with other members of the team including other designers and developers
- Prepare and deliver polished assets for both digital and print
- Craft both beautiful projects and case studies
We're looking for
- 3–5 years of experience in a design role (agency or studio)
- A meticulous, detail-oriented approach to your work
- Excellent website design skills, and strong understanding of UX/UI
- A strong eye for typography and visual detail
- Experience building and applying brand systems
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite essential
- Fluency in AI tools — Midjourney, Nano-Banana (or similar)
- Confidence working across motion, animation, and video
- A deep interest in photography and art direction
- A genuine passion for design in all its forms
- Curiosity in design trends, and emerging creative tools and software
- Confidence working independently and as part of a team
