TateHindle is seeking an interior-focused Part 2/architectural designer to join its team in London. We are an award-winning architecture and design practice based in London, working with high-profile clients and completing many interesting and challenging projects across a variety of sectors. Our portfolio includes innovative new builds and the sensitive restoration of listed buildings. We create spaces that inspire people to work, learn and create; we establish sustainable communities and design beautiful buildings for everyone to enjoy.
The ideal candidate will have approximately two years' post-graduation industry experience along with creative drive and good technical understanding. The role will involve supporting the project team in delivering a number of exciting large and medium scale commercial projects in central London.
In addition to excellent design and presentation skills, the successful candidate will have proven experience with Revit and Adobe Creative Suite. The successful candidate must have:
- Experience in the design and development of office design concepts
- A professional qualification in architecture, interior architecture or equivalent qualification
- Proven design and detailing expertise, with an ability to present ideas to the senior team and client clearly and concisely
- Confidence in working in BIM and 3D modelling with Revit, SketchUp and Enscape
- Ability to assist the wider project team with drawing packages and presentations
- Experience working alongside senior interior designers to source finishes and develop FF&E specifications
- Experience in delivery of drawings with an understanding of technical detailing through all stages
- Good and current knowledge of UK building regulations
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Keen interest in current and emerging trends across the commercial/office market
- High levels of team spirit with a collaborative and positive approach
