The Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to join our design team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their career to contribute to the development of unique gift products and packaging, alongside the creation of impactful marketing materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of new gift products with a focus on accompanying packaging concepts
- Create sketches, digital renderings, and prototypes for both products and packaging
- Develop packaging layouts, artwork, and print-ready files
- Work with Content & Marketing team to create photography and other promotional assets, such as product images, video, social media posts, catalogues, infographics, emails, etc.
- Support senior designers in refining concepts and preparing detailed design specifications
- Prepare presentations and mock-ups for internal reviews and stakeholder meetings
Skills & Experience
- Strong creative thinking with a keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and branding
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Photography skills and experience
- Basic knowledge of product design, materials, and manufacturing methods (not essential)
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly through sketches, visuals, and presentations
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Degree (or equivalent) in Graphic Design or Product Design
- A portfolio demonstrating both product and graphic / packaging design work, and photography or illustration (academic or personal projects accepted)
- Desirable: Previous internship or work experience in a design-related role
