Job Summary

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their production career to gain experience working on high-profile shoots with global fashion and luxury brands. As Junior Producer, you’ll provide hands‑on support across all stages of production, from pre‑production to post, helping ensure everything runs smoothly.

You’ll work closely with Producers and Senior Producers, assisting on larger scale productions whilst taking on responsibility for smaller projects. This role is perfect for someone with strong organisational skills, a passion for creative production, and a willingness to learn in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Production Ownership & Accountability

  • Maintains accurate production documentation, timelines, and trackers while confidently following producer direction and escalating questions, concerns or scope changes appropriately.
  • Works confidently under team guidance, taking ownership of assigned tasks while recognising risks, delays, or scope changes and escalating them promptly and appropriately.
  • Independently manages smaller photo and film shoots while supporting larger, higher-complexity productions as part of a wider team.
  • Remains calm, adaptable, and solution‑focused when managing multiple priorities or fast‑paced shoot environments.

Pre‑Production & Planning

  • Coordinates practical production requirements including crew bookings, locations, permits, travel arrangements, equipment hire, and supplier onboarding to ensure full shoot readiness.
  • Builds and maintains detailed shoot schedules, call sheets, and availability trackers, ensuring clarity of timings and responsibilities across all contributors.
  • Liaises with internal teams, freelancers, and external partners to confirm deliverables, dependencies, and resource alignment ahead of shoot days.
  • Conducts research and sourcing for talent, props, wardrobe, locations, and specialist suppliers in line with creative direction, brand guidelines, and approved budgets. Seeking support or guidance from wider production team where appropriate.

Shoot Delivery & On‑Set Leadership

  • Provides proactive, hands‑on support during shoots, helping maintain workflow efficiency, schedule adherence, and smooth communication between teams.
  • Oversees practical on‑set needs for smaller productions, ensuring equipment, crew requirements, shot lists, and timings remain aligned and issues are addressed quickly.
  • Pack, set up and wrap production kit, as well as supporting wider production team with prep and wrap, ensuring to keep a log of restocks needed and flagging missing or damaged items.

Financial Management & Commercial Awareness

  • Prepares, maintains, and updates basic project budgets and reconciliations, ensuring costs are logged accurately and transparently.
  • Identifies cost‑effective supplier options and negotiates within pre‑approved financial boundaries.
  • Demonstrates day‑to‑day commercial awareness by considering value, efficiency, and budget impact when selecting resources or suppliers.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Assists Producers with client communications, feedback loops, and project updates, ensuring professionalism and responsiveness.
  • Communicates clearly and confidently with clients, creatives, freelancers, and internal teams across email, calls, and in‑person interactions.
  • Acts as the main point of contact on smaller projects, managing routine queries while escalating strategic decisions appropriately.
  • Supports pitch preparation through research, availability checks, preliminary budgeting, and supplier outreach.

Team Contribution & Leadership

  • Provides dependable logistical, administrative, and practical support to Producers and wider studio teams.
  • Works closely with studio, creative, styling, and post‑production departments to maintain seamless project flow and shared accountability.

Process, Compliance & Standards

  • Adheres to internal production processes, contracts, approval workflows, and legal/compliance requirements.
  • Maintains working knowledge of current production tools, scheduling software, and industry best practices.
  • Handles client information, commercial data, and creative assets with discretion, professionalism, and adherence to data security protocols.

Essential Skills and Requirements

  • 1–2 years’ experience in a Production Assistant, Junior Producer, or related creative, events, or hospitality role.
  • Interest in luxury, fashion, lifestyle, or creative industries.
  • Proactive, can‑do attitude with willingness to take initiative and learn quickly.
  • Basic budgeting and administrative competency.
  • Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and adaptable in fast‑paced shoot or studio environments.
  • Good organisational skills with attention to detail across multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Foundational understanding of photo and film production workflows.
  • Proactive, can‑do attitude with willingness to take initiative and learn quickly.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace / Microsoft Office tools.
