We’re looking for a creative freelance Junior Designer to join the team behind the International Live Music Conference (ILMC), International Festival Forum (IFF) and IQ Magazine. Our events and publications sit at the centre of the international live music industry, one of the most exciting and fast growing industries in the world. We’re looking for someone who is obsessed with good design, across print, digital and physical branding, as well as being passionate about music.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adapt and use design templates across various formats, sizes, and platforms (e.g.; magazine features, print ads, event signage and artwork, social media assets).
  • Strictly adhere to house styles and brand guidelines, ensuring typography, colour usage and styles are consistent.
  • Prepare error‑free, print‑ready artwork (checking bleed, crop marks, CMYK coverage and resolution) and digital assets.
  • Perform basic image editing, colour correction, and image resizing.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • A demonstrable understanding of basic typographic, layout and grid principles.
  • A foundational understanding of print processes, typography, layout, and digital file optimization.
  • A proactive team player who handles constructive feedback well and is able to manage multiple tight deadlines.
  • A keen eye for spotting typos, misaligned elements, and layout inconsistencies.
  • A portfolio demonstrating clean layout skills, precise formatting, and a strong eye for detail.
  • Some professional work experience would be a bonus.
