There is an opportunity for an FF&E procurement coordinator at K&H Design in London. We are seeking a highly organised and design-literate FF&E procurement coordinator to work closely with our finance and procurement manager in supporting all FF&E procurement activities across our interior design projects.

This is a full-time permanent position which includes maternity cover for three months for the procurement manager. You will work closely with the procurement manager until the end of June, take full responsibility for July, August and September, and then continue in a supportive role to the procurement manager from 1 October as the design team grows and the number of projects builds momentum.

This role is ideal for someone who has a strong design sensibility, an appreciation for craftsmanship and detail, and hands-on experience managing FF&E procurement through to installation. You will collaborate daily with designers, suppliers, and external partners to ensure seamless delivery of furnishings, fixtures, and equipment across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities
  • Procurement and FF&E coordination
    • Assist with day-to-day FF&E procurement activities across residential projects
    • Support initial build of project budgets in Excel and assist with data entry into Estimac
    • Track purchase orders, lead times, deliveries, and installations
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date FF&E status reports
    • Issue and communicate any changes or updates to the client
    • Tracking, storage, and quality control
    • Liaise with storage facilities to coordinate deliveries, storage, inspections, and releases
    • Ensure FF&E items are opened, inspected, and documented upon arrival
    • Coordinate replacements where required, including filing and managing damage claims
  • Designer and project team support
    • Work directly with interior designers to support FF&E selection, ordering, and project close-out
    • Coordinate end-of-project FF&E snagging: track snags and outstanding items, follow up with vendors, coordinate site visits, and issue snagging and close-out reports
  • Vendor and supplier management
    • Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and vendors
    • Update and manage the supplier database
    • Assist with setting up new trade accounts as required
  • Documentation and client deliverables
    • Assist with the ongoing compilation of the Homeowner’s Manual throughout each project
    • Ensure manuals are complete and issued to the client prior to installation
Skills and experience
  • Essential
    • Previous experience in an FF&E procurement role within an interior design studio
    • Ability to demonstrate successful outcomes of projects ranging in size and scope, with FF&E budgets up to £2M
    • Strong design sensibility and appreciation for materials, craftsmanship, and detailing
    • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
    • Strong proficiency in Excel and Estimac
    • Experience working across multiple projects simultaneously
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
