Dezeen is offering a three-month digital and social media internship in London. Dezeen is the world’s most influential architecture and design magazine with two million readers a month and more than 8.5 million followers across social platforms.
We’re looking for an organised and detail-oriented individual with some experience across digital content, copywriting and social media. The digital intern will assist the acting digital editor in ensuring that digital content published on Dezeen is scheduled for sharing across all our social media platforms, and delivering sponsored content across our channels. They will also assist in constructing and scheduling editorial newsletters and comment moderation.
The ideal candidate will exhibit:
- Impeccable standards of written English, a strong understanding of grammar and punctuation, and have an eye for a strong image
- Some experience in writing for social media
- Some experience working with social media scheduling software
- Some experience working with newsletter scheduling software
- Fluent in TikTok and enthusiastic about emerging digital platforms
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (particularly Photoshop and Premiere Pro) and experience editing short video content are a plus
The role involves liaising with different departments at Dezeen to determine priorities and schedules as well as providing regular updates on task due dates and progress to relevant parties. You must be available to work full-time and be able to start Monday 24 August. This is a paid position at a rate of £555 per week, and is based at Dezeen’s office in Hoxton, London, UK.
