Dezeen is offering a paid three-month internship on its classified sales team in London. Dezeen is the world’s most influential architecture and design magazine. We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to support our classified sales team, which manages Dezeen Jobs, Dezeen Events Guide, Dezeen School Shows, Dezeen Courses and Dezeen Competitions. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in media sales, business development and marketing at one of the world’s leading design media brands.
Key responsibilities include:
- Researching recruitment opportunities and prospective clients for Dezeen Jobs, as well as sales leads across all classified services supporting lead generation and business development activities to help drive revenue growth.
- Responding to classified sales enquiries by email and phone.
- Assisting with bookings, invoicing, payments and other administrative tasks.
- Creating promotional marketing material for display advertising, editorial features and social media channels to promote our classified services.
The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- A proactive, self‑motivated and curious approach, with the confidence to take initiative and identify opportunities.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- An interest in architecture, design and digital media; knowledge of the architecture and design industry would be an advantage.
- Experience using Adobe Photoshop would be desirable but is not essential.
The role would suit a recent graduate or someone at the beginning of their career. The classified sales intern will report to Dezeen’s classified sales acting team lead. Applicants must be available to start in September and be able to work full‑time for three months. This is a full‑time position based at Dezeen’s office in Hoxton, London, UK.
