Are you an Operations Manager looking for a new challenge? Do you have a background in manufacturing and production? We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our growing CMS2 team in Portsmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking team. The role holder will be responsible for the leadership and management of the production team including production test & inspection The role holder will be responsible for the leadership and management of the operations team including manufacturing, production test & inspection. They will work closely with the industrialisation manager and together with will ensure all aspects of the enablement of projects / products for the production team to manage effective and efficient flow through production. The Operations manager will manage the workload of the various teams, defining and delivering the key metrics required including OTIF, utilisation and quality and in doing so ensure the rest of the business is aligned, informed and engaged in the delivery process. The role will create & manage the schedule for production ensuring it aligns to the needs of the project teams in terms of Quality, Cost and Delivery, they will also ensure that all manufacturing processes are fulfilling the needs of the business and continually improve them.
