Due to exciting expansion and new hotel openings, Criterion Hospitality is seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a vibrant and diverse portfolio of hotels, where no two days are the same. You will play a key role in ensuring our buildings and systems are running efficiently and safely, supporting the delivery of a high-quality guest experience.

About the Role

As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all installation, repair, and upkeep operations across our hotel properties. From managing planned maintenance and leading your team, to handling urgent repairs and ensuring compliance, your contribution will be key to the smooth running of our growing estate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead all hotel maintenance operations and staff
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance procedures
  • Plan and manage repair and installation activities
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company policies
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve issues proactively
  • Track maintenance expenses and manage departmental budget
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and daily progress reports
  • Oversee stock levels and coordinate procurement of tools and supplies
  • Collaborate with hotel GMs and department heads to address property needs

What We’re Looking For

  • Mechanical qualification or equivalent; a degree in facilities management or business administration is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in maintenance, ideally within hospitality or multi-site operations
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and electrical systems
  • Prior team leadership or managerial experience preferred
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on service excellence
