Criterion Hospitality is looking for an experienced Hospitality Operations & Contract Auditor to provide independent assurance across our London hotel portfolio.
The role will audit outsourced and internal services including housekeeping, linen and laundry, public-area cleaning, guest supplies and other operational services. You will review service delivery, contracts, invoices and supporting records to identify control weaknesses, non-compliance and financial discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and unannounced audits across London hotels.
- Review contracts, service standards, invoices and operational records.
- Identify overbilling, unsupported charges, service failures and control gaps.
- Prepare clear audit reports and track corrective actions.
- Monitor supplier compliance and performance.
- Recommend improvements to controls, procedures and supplier governance.
About You
- Experience in audit, compliance, contract assurance or financial control.
- Strong analytical, numerical and spreadsheet skills.
- Confident reviewing contracts, invoices and supporting evidence.
- Able to challenge discrepancies and communicate findings professionally.
- Highly organised, objective and independent.
- Flexible to travel across our London hotel portfolio.
Hospitality experience is desirable but not essential ; strong audit and control experience is more important.
