The Opportunity

A hybrid role blending admin and hands‑on site support. You’ll work closely with our Lift Engineer to keep lifts across our portfolio running smoothly—learning on the job while handling essential coordination and simple supervised tasks. Training is provided. For the right candidate, we’re willing to invest in relevant courses to support progression toward a Lift Engineer role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Log lift issues and schedule visits; keep the lift register and service records up to date.
  • Prepare straightforward reports and updates after visits/inspections (attach photos and notes).
  • Attend sites with the Lift Engineer; assist with safe access, housekeeping and basic supervised tasks.
  • Collect and deliver parts occasionally from local merchandisers.
  • Support simple checks/tests under supervision (e.g., buttons, lights, alarms, door operation).
  • Maintain tidy, safe work areas; manage waste/returns and keep tools/PPE in order.
  • Communicate updates to building teams/residents as directed and follow up on actions.

What We’re Looking For

  • Full UK driving licence and own car (essential).
  • Past administration experience (essential).
  • Good IT skills (MS Office/Google Workspace), comfortable with spreadsheets and shared drives.
  • Excellent communication and a calm, customer‑focused manner.
  • Willingness to learn and work hands‑on under supervision; motivated to progress toward a Lift Engineer role.
  • Nice to have: experience in a lift/service company in a junior role (not essential).

Working Pattern & Travel
