What You’ll Do
- Bring game worlds to life by crafting stunning, high‑quality 3D assets, materials, and textures that captivate players and set new standards for visual excellence.
- Collaborate closely with environment artists and art leads to seamlessly integrate your creations into immersive, playable spaces.
- Work side‑by‑side with technical artists and the VFX team to design and deliver dynamic, destructible assets that elevate gameplay and visual impact.
- Utilize modern techniques and industry‑standard software, including the Substance Suite and Maya, to produce world‑class models and materials.
- Apply photogrammetry workflows to generate authentic natural and hard‑surface assets.
- Partner with environment artists and leads to help form asset lists, prepare briefs, and provide feedback to outsource teams, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Collaborate with art leads and other artists to maintain quality, consistency and meet the creative vision for the project.
- Prepare assets for integration, ensuring they meet technical and performance requirements.
- Gather and organize reference materials to support asset creation and maintain visual fidelity.
- Look for opportunities to improve asset quality and contribute to the overall look and feel of the game world.
- Work efficiently within established pipelines and workflows, providing feedback on tools and processes to help drive improvements.
Who You Are
- A skilled 3D artist with a portfolio that demonstrates your ability to create high‑quality assets, materials, and textures for games.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a 3D Environment Artist, ideally creating content on AAA projects.
- Proficient in modern content creation tools and techniques, including the Substance Suite, Maya and photogrammetry workflows.
- Detail‑oriented and committed to producing polished, realistic game visuals.
- A clear, proactive communicator who enjoys cross‑team collaboration and values shared success.
- Adaptable and open to learning new tools and techniques to continue developing your skills as an environment artist.
- An enthusiastic gamer.
- Bonus: Experience with procedural tools for asset and material creation.
